YBS Group, whilst in a position of growth and development, recognised that they did not have a fully integrated estates strategy. The business operated from a series of wholly-owned and inconsistent sites across the UK, which had suffered form a lack of investment and had not previously been viewed as a strategic enabler to drive business performance.
Acting as the key client contact, Helen worked alongside YBS for five years to assist with the development and roll out of their corporate estate strategy. Liaising with the Board of Directors to develop an understanding of the forecast headcount growth and future acquisitions of both Chelsea and N&P Building Society, making it the second largest Building Society in the UK.
As a result of the new design YBS Group (approx 3000 staff) are now operating within the new HQ in Leeds and operational sites across Bradford and Peterborough maximising the benefit of desk and room booking systems in a new hybrid working model.
